Is it possible to purchase a Gift Voucher?
Yes. Simply click on the gift vouchers tab and follow the prompts.
Do you run custom classes?
Yes. We can run workshops at your work, home or school. We even run one-off classes for hen’s / birthday parties. Email us if interested.
How can I find out about upcoming classes and events?
Join our mailing list and like us on facebook to keep informed.
Are children able to attend Melt Jewellery School classes?
At present, if you are under 18 – No. If you are aged 16-18 you can attend our classes accompanied by a full paying adult / carer. Keep an eye on our website for kids holiday workshops in the near future.

The Booking Process:

Can I buy more than 1 spot in a class?
Yes. Be sure to indicate this at the checkout.
Is it possible to pay a deposit for a class?
As places are limited and we strive to keep our classes to a minimum number, your spot in a class is only guaranteed once payment has been received in full.
How do I pay for my class?
The best payment method is to follow the prompts on our website and book and pay online using credit card or PayPal. You can also pay in cash or with Eftpos at Studio Melt, Shop 4a, 113-145 Hunter Street Mall, Newcastle.

Terms and Conditions:

Once I have booked into a class can I cancel / defer my booking?
If a replacement is found before the commencement of the class, yes (minus a 20% admin fee). If a suitable replacement can’t be found then unfortunately a refund / deferment is not possible.
Can I transfer my workshop place to someone else?
Yes, however you must check with us first to make sure the person is suitable (ie: if they old enough, or if there are any pre-requisites). Be sure to inform us of the replacements’ contact details so they can receive all emails / messages before the commencement of the workshop.
Are there any extra costs involved on the day of the class?
All base metals, tools and equipment are provided. Castings and extra sterling silver is at the expense of the student. At some workshops there may be the opportunity to purchase an optional take-home kit put together by the presenter for personal use upon completion of the course.
