This is a fantastic introductory class for creative teens to learn basic jewellery making skills and techniques. No prior jewellery making experience is required.
In this workshop students will make a sterling silver pair of earrings, a pendant, bracelet charm or keyring accessory.
Using a jewellers saw, students will cut out their initial designs. Learning various stamping techniques, they will then add texture or stamp a personalised message or name to their pieces. Students will then learn how to make their own sterling silver findings and attachments which will add that professional touch. Individual pieces will then be finished, filed and polished.
All sterling silver, tools and equipment will be supplied.
